Q: Is Ko currently open?
A: Yes.

Ko is only currently serving a menu we like to call our KO EXTRA PLACE menu. This menu is served in both the outdoor and indoor dining areas. The KO EXTRA PLACE menu features a combination of a 5-course classics tasting menu as well as a la carte options. Guests are not limited to either the tasting menu or a la carte; it can be one or the other, or a combination of both.

Please note that our main dining room is not currently open and we are not offering the full 12-course tasting menu.

Q: What do you serve in the KO EXTRA PLACE menu?

Q: Do I have to make a reservation?
A: Although we will absolutely seat walk-ins based on availability, we strongly encourage making reservations to avoid disappointment.

Q: When do your reservations open up?
A: Reservations become available 14 days before your desired dining date. For instance, on the 1st of the month at midnight, reservations for the 14th can be booked.

Q: What is your cancelation policy?
A: A credit card is required to secure your reservation. Reservations can be canceled or changed up to 30 minutes before the reservation time. Canceling the reservation with less than 30 minutes notice may trigger a cancelation fee of $19.99 per guest.

Q: What is your outdoor dining like?
A: Our outdoor dining structure is a wooden enclosure 37 feet long and 11 feet wide with 6 tables and heated by infrared heaters. We have prioritized generous ventilation with moveable windows and vents just below the roof. As a result, airflow means that it still will be cold inside the structure if the temperatures plummet. If you are sensitive to cold, we strongly encourage dressing very warmly and bringing blankets.

Q: What is your indoor dining like?
A: Indoor dining will take place in what used to be our bar for both counter and table seatings. Reservations are counter or table-specific and are not interchangeable.

Counter seats are elevated, side-by-side, and face the open kitchen.

Tables are adjacent to the kitchen and seats often face each other.

Indoor reservations are very limited as seatings are spaced to observe social distancing guidelines.

Q: What are your health and safety protocols?
A: Our Company Safety Manual details the protocols to which we adhere.

Q: What are your service protocols?
A: Our staff will all be wearing face masks, gloves, and practicing social distancing to the best of their ability.

Q: What is your dining protocol?
A: We respectfully ask that guests wear face masks at all times except when drinking and eating. Please remain masked when actively interacting with a staff member.

Q: What is your corkage policy?
A: At this time, we are unable to accept any corkage bottles. Thank you for your understanding.

Q: How do I order to go?
A: We are no longer offering delivery or pick up orders.

Q: What if I am running late?

A: Please text us using the chat function in your Resy app or please call 212.203.8095 and leave a message indicating your reservation name and time. We can only hold tables for 15 minutes in general circumstances.

Q: Where are you located? I am having trouble finding the restaurant.
A: Ko is located in Extra Place, which is the northbound alley off 1st St. between 2nd Ave. and Bowery.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: Cash and all major credit cards.
